 We’re Danica and Alex — the hands and hearts behind BERRO aroma. We are a newly started candle business, with a few tools and a love for making things that matter a shared passion for simple, meaningful moments. We never planned on becoming candle makers. It started in my mothers house—her favorite place, talk, and create.

 My mom was the one who first sparked the idea of starting my candle business. She taught me how to make candles in her living room, showing me how to melt the wax, mix the scents, and pour with care and patience. One day she looked at my finished candles and said, “You know… people would buy these.” That moment planted the seed, and her belief in me turned a small mother-daughter craft into the beginning of my own candle business.

 That was the first night I told my boyfriend about the idea that had been in my head: What if we turned this into a business? I expected him to shrug or give one of those “maybe someday” answers. Instead, he looked at me and said, “Then let’s do it.”

And he meant we.

From that moment, he committed to it completely—learning how to pour, helping with packaging, building the website to expand, staying up late with me to test new scents until the whole house smelled like a forest, a bakery, and a spa at the same time. He believed in the dream even on days of doubt.

But that’s how it happened: a spark passed from her hands to mine, and then spread into something bigger—something shared, something loved, something built with intention and heart.

And now, every time one of our candles flickers to life in someone else’s home, I think of that first day in my mom’s living room. How a simple craft became a passion. How a passion became a business. And how, with a little help from the people I love, I learned to make not just candles, but a future bright enough to stand on its own.
